  • Joe Arnold

    Community Leader

    Truist Team Leader, retired , Not-for-Profit & Government Banking

    During Joe’s 40-year career with Truist he served in numerous leadership roles, the last of which was as SVP and Team Leader of Truist’s (formerly SunTrust’s) Not-For-Profit & Government Banking Division. In that capacity he led Metro Atlanta’s leading banking team of consultative credit, deposit, risk management and investment advisory professionals dedicated to the nonprofit and government sectors. As he did before retirement, Joe continues to dedicate himself to his community largely through service on the following grant- and scholarship-providing boards: Robert W. Woodruff Foundation, Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation, Achieve Atlanta, John & Mary Franklyn Foundation and Georgia GOAL SSO. Other board service includes Atlanta Mission, KIPP, YMCA of Metro Atlanta and Boy Scouts.

  • Tomer Zvulun

    The Carl W. Knoblock, Jr. General & Artistic Director with the Atlanta Opera

    General and Artistic Director of The Atlanta Opera since 2013, Israeli born Tomer Zvulun is also one of opera’s most exciting stage directors, earning consistent praise for his creative vision, often described as cinematic and fresh. His work has been presented by prestigious opera houses around the world, including The Metropolitan Opera, the opera companies of Israel, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Montreal, Wexford, Glimmerglass, Houston, Washington National Opera, Seattle, Dallas, Detroit, San Diego, Minnesota, Boston, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, New Orleans and Wolf Trap, as well as leading educational institutes and universities such as The Juilliard School, Indiana University, Boston University, and IVAI in Tel Aviv.

    Since taking the leadership in Atlanta a decade ago, he personally directed thirty of the company’s productions. He increased the operations of the company from three to six productions per season, while stabilizing the financials and in the course of his first decade tenure, secured Atlanta’s position as one of the top 10 opera companies in the US. Some of his noted achievements includes launching the successful Discoveries series, creating the first young artist program in the company’s history, tripling the company’s annual fund raising, launching the company’s first RING cycle, creating The Atlanta Opera Film Studio, and building a theatre in a circus tent where performances were conducted safely during the pandemic.

    His work at The Atlanta Opera attracted international attention by earning numerous awards and prizes including the nomination of The Atlanta Opera for the International Opera Awards in London and the selection of his production of Silent Night as both the Irish Times and Atlanta Journal-Constitution production of the year. His focus on innovation led to an invitation to deliver a TED talk as well as a case study that is being taught at Harvard Business School. His productions travel the world and bring wide exposure to the company. Next season his productions of Rigoletto travel to Los Angeles Opera, his La bohème returns to The Dallas Opera, and his acclaimed production of The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs will make its Kennedy Center debut at the Washington National Opera.

  • Belisa Urbina

    CEO with Ser Familia

    Mrs. Urbina was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She studied Business Administration at the The University of Puerto Rico and graduated Valedictorian of her class. In 2001, along with her husband Miguel, she co-founded Ser Familia, Inc. which is the leading program in Georgia providing coordinated multi-disciplinary family, social and mental health services to Latinos.

    Through the years she has held leadership positions in various influential organizations. She was a member of Cobb County’s 2020 Steering Committee and Kennestone Hospital’s Regional Board of Directors past chairperson. She is also a member of the Prevent Child Abuse Georgia Advisory Board, Georgia’s Child Protective Services Advisory Council, member of Voices for Georgia’s Children and United Way of Metro Atlanta Boards of Directors. She has been a part of Georgia’s Department of Public Health COVID-19 Health Equity Council. She has also been involved in many national efforts benefiting Latinos, including as a member of the Advisory Council of the National Network to Eliminate Disparities in Behavioral Health and SAMHSA’s Behavioral Health Equity Steering Committee. In 2024, she was appointed by Georgia's Governor to the Commission on Equal Opportunity.

    Among the many recognitions she has received for her work, in 2014, she was chosen as one of the 11WhoCare by Atlanta’s 11 Alive Channel. In 2017 she was honored by the Georgia Women’s Legislative Caucus with the Nikki T Randall Servant Leadership Award and recognized with the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award by the Atlanta Falcons. In 2018, the Atlanta Braves chose her along with her husband Miguel as Braves’ Community Heroes. She has also been named as one of Georgia’s 50 Most Influential Latinos in 2018, 2019, and 2020. In 2021, Mrs. Urbina and her husband were inducted into the Georgia Latinos’ Hall of Fame. In 2023, she received, along with her husband Miguel, a Commendation at the United States Congress. She has been recognized by the American Public Health Association and by the American Psychiatric Association because of her work to ensure equity in the provision of mental health services.

    She is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta (2017) and the Regional Leadership Institute (2019). Ms. Urbina has been married to Miguel for 38 years and is the mother of 5 adult children and grandmother of 9.

  • Elizabeth Finnerty

    President & CEO

    Beth Finnerty is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Skyland Trail, a nonprofit mental health treatment organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. During her 35-year tenure, Beth has grown Skyland Trail from a start-up nonprofit serving a handful of clients to a nationally recognized psychiatric treatment organization serving hundreds of clients and their families each year. She has led the development and implementation of five strategic plans, the completion of five capital campaigns totaling more than $65 million, and the development and construction of new treatment facilities across six campuses. She has also overseen a significant expansion of clinical services and programs.

    Beth received her Bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and a dual Master’s degree in Business and Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute of Health Administration (Georgia State University), the Advisory Group for the Center for Behavioral and Mental Health at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and is a current member of Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS). She is a past member of the boards of the Fuqua Center for Late Life Depression (past president), the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Metro Atlanta Chapter (past president), the Board of Mental Health America – Georgia (chair), the Emory Board of Visitors, the Georgia Community Trust, the Atlanta Business Leaders Initiative and the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships (Atlanta region). She is a Diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Georgia and a 2009 graduate of Leadership Atlanta. Beth was a Woman of the Year honoree in 2007 by Atlanta Woman magazine and received the 2006 Leadership Award from the Georgia Psychiatric Physician’s Association. In 2014, she was selected as a YWCA Woman of Achievement and was recognized with a Womenetics POW! Award.
